Still sick

So my flu has been progressing and changing so hopefully this means it will go away soon. The high fever/very painful sore throat has given way to a bad cough/niagra falls nose which isn't a bad but way more annoying. I still haven't lifted and can feel my muscles fading to away to nothingness. As for you comment Cara, Dad has Bronchitis and I'm not a player I just crush a lot :)

sick as a dog

On a side note, why is that a common phrase, are dogs usually sick? But anyways I have a sore throat/flu thing and my whole body aches. I was thinking about lifting tonight anyways but my mom convinced me otherwise. Hopefully I will be feeling better by saturday so that I won't lose too much ground.

Mondays are so long

I hate mondays, they are so long and depressing after the weekend. On a happier note I had an excellent back and biceps workout at night. My buddys little Joe and Ray came down to the gym and lifted with me. Lifting with other people is so much more fun and motivationaly then lifting by yourself. I am really sore today as a result of our killer workout. After lifting my friendsl left but I stuck around for an hour to play 4v4 indoor, full court soccer. It was extrememly tiring, last week we play 4v4 half-court and that was tiring. I am also thinking about running in a 5k sponsored by the Nashua soup kitchen on April 1st.

You teach me to Footsball?

The end of this week was full of the glorious game of football. I lifted chest, triceps, and shoulders with Ray on thursday night after Crusade. Then I played football in the gym with some of my buddy's for awhile. Finally I finished the night off with the basketball and a killer abs session with another friend. It was a good night. Then friday night after going out for dinner and going to the beach, which was absolutely freezing. I played football in the gym again.

Comtemplating madness and chaos theory

I lifted back and biceps last night. It was a really good workout and I got 1 extra pullup my first set than normal and then 2 extra the second set. This got me really pumped up and I did more weight/reps on almost all of my excersises. Then I played 4v4 soccer for about an hour. We were sticking it to the other team pretty good so then they added another player and we were still outscoring them. I scored a good amount of goals and played the best I have since I have been playing indoor soccer. All in all it was a good night. If only non-athletic life was so straightford and easy to understand I wouldn't have so much running through my head right now.

Week of great ups and downs

Don't ask me what the title means I am not really sure myself :)

Monday: Lifted Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps

Wednesday: Lifted Back and Biceps, when I did abs I did the back extension thing except on my side and with a 10 pound dumbbell. Whooodoggitty was I sore for like the next three days in my obliques.

Friday: Ski Day at Loon Mountain with the school. I love skiing so much now, I went my fastest ever and am starting to get pretty comfortable on skis. My worst fall was when I was trying to get over to the lift on completely flat ground and was trying to do the ice skate thing and just fell over. I looked like a complete newb and my knee landed on the side of my ski leaving it nice and purple now. Besides that I only really fell three times which is good for me.

Saturday: I am a glutton for punishment so I decided to lift even though I skied the day before. I was rewarded by getting 2 more reps on my last set of bench press which was really exciting.

Busy Busy Busy

Sometimes life is so busy that you don't have time to right about it. I have been very active the last month and it paid off. After being as much as 185 after thanksgiving I am back down to just under 170 which is a good weight for me. Now I just need to tone and bulk up my upperbody a little and I will be ready for the beach and the ladies :)

Wednesday: Lifted with Ray again after running for 20 minutes. This time we did chest, shoulders, and triceps. Afterwards Ray took off and I played some 2 on 2 and then some 4 on 4 full court. I love playing full court. For one its a much better workout, but also it fits my game a lot better because I can outrun most of the people I play with.

Thursday: Went to the gym with Joe and Andy and played wiffleball for an hour and a half. Some other guys there took swings to and it was pretty fun.

Saturday: Went to the ymca and lifted back and biceps again. Also, beforehand I ran 2.65 miles in 20 minutes. I am starting to get a little faster.
