Legs

Met 15 minutes earlier then normal today because legs take so long to lift. Did 3 sets of 6 @ 145 pounds squats, 1 set of 6 @ 330 pound 45 degree angle leg press, 2 sets of 6 @ 135 pounds stiff legged deadlifts, 1 set of 6 @ 170 pound leg curls, 2 set of 10 @ 150 pounds standing calf raises, and 1 set of 8 @ 160 pounds seated calf raises. Then we finnished off by doing the side raise things for your oblique muscles.

I did the side raises on the stand that you do back extensions on. It is by far the best excersise to do for your oblique muscles. I am usually so sore the day after I do them.

hmmm, do you hold any weight for the side raises? how many do you do? how low down do you extend? Kristin is Lance Armstrong's ex-wife, mother of his children. That may be why you've heard of her if you haven't read her column. Yeah, 13 miles seems like enough to do an arm band for!

I hold a dumbell in my hanging lower hand, I have also seen people hold weight plates so whatever is more comfortable for you. I do sets of 15 per side and go down far enough to feel a good stretch in my oblique but not far enough that I pull or strain the muscle. Basically, go down as far as it feels comfortable to go down. I have heard about the arm things, not specifically kristin. Well, now I have both lol.
