Mt. Moosilauke

I hiked up Mt. Moosilauke(4800 ft) yesterday with Stephen, Alex, Jeff, and Mike. The three of us hiking the presidentials all had our large packs with a ton of weight in them for training. The trail is one of the steepest in the White Mountains because it is right next to these cascades for about 2 miles. This made for very beautiful, but challenging climbing. My legs felt good the whole way but my left knee started to really bother me on the way down. Also my shoulders got very tired so me and Stephen decided that we will have to hike in the Hollis town forest with our packs on a few times to get used to it. I am really excited for our trip in two weeks and hope that my knee doesn't give me any more problems.

11 days until we hike
